But... HugaChan Survived this and seperated /tr/ also down this hour T_T

feedback?

BTW: Internet Watch Foundation of UK Got attacked IB4F Servers also

and the notice

Back Soon, Hopefully

If your reading this your probably wondering where your board is;

For the time being I've taken down ImageBoard4Free. I will bring it back online soon, but boards will now have to be authorized before being created and un-moderated boards will be disabled.

The reason I've done this is because I'm fed up of having to deal with complains from the IWF and Police over people misusing this service, especially as I provide this site free and get almost nothing in return. The complaint I got today in regards to seizing our hard drives was just the point where I gave up more or less on the idea of keeping this site going the way it is, it's too uncontrolled at the moment.

For those of you who have active and well moderated boards, feel free to send me a message at (E-Mail Removed to Protect from Spam), and I can enable those individually or set you up with some seperate hosting.

Also if anyone is in the US, owns a powerful dedicated server and wants to try hosting this site, send me a message at the above email address. If all else fails I would rather pass the site on to someone outside of the UK jurisdiction than have the site die.

I'm wondering why hugachan is still up though? It's located on IB4F's servers, so why isn't it down like the rest of IB4F?

Because hugachan is the Seal of Awesome.

I didn't realize IB4F was in the UK; if I had, I would have told you this day would come sooner rather than later. The UK has been hellbent on passing heavily restrictive laws on Internet usage.

I always wonder how 4chan escapes the v&, since that has CP spammed up on it pretty much anytime day or night and is also loaded with vast amounts of copyright infringement and in general un-Christian moral values. Suppose it is just a matter of time there as well.

But nothing lacks a silver lining - board is zippy now!
