I'd say that we could do with a /c/ anyway tbh. My idea for loli was host it somewhere loli-friendly and just iframe it, which is hackish, but removes the need for somewhere that allows media/arrrr and loli prons.

Either that or just get a russian server to host it, they allow pretty much everything.

seconding the idea to host /loli/ (and any other "problematic" boards) on a separate server in whichever foreign country allows us such things. it sucks to have to sacrifice so much (stability, userbase continuity, inexpensive hosting) just for a few boards.
Also, +500 lol points if whatever new server ends up getting hosted in soviet russia.

/c/ wouldn't be a bad idea either... should do that.

I suggest utilizing bokuchan as a sub-chan for Rozen Maiden, since it already exists and all. Incorporate it in the style Wakachan does.

It's not a bad idea, and it's been suggested before, namely that time when Desuchan's power supply exploded and took out half a rack of servers. The problem with Bokuchan now is its management (and no, I'm not talking about Photoshop Addict). If CERTAIN PEOPLE could be removed from the equation then sure, incorporating Bokuchan in a Wakachan-like fashion into Desuchan would be justfinethx.

Also, need a real host, slow board is slow. But I realize this is an expense, let's see what happens with desuchan b4 we get excited. I have a feeling that it will return again, much like a Taco Bell burrito.

However, kudos to Cirno on Huga, and I support this endeavour as well, unless desuchan is willing to include huga~ in the fold. Which given its mandate, seems unlikely. Although it had touhou....

I support huga on Newdesuchan.
This chan in ib4free should be temporary, as it's really slow compared to a real host, but eh. It works for now, and it seems to have good software.
I still as always oppose censorship, and that includes self-censorship. NSFW=OK should remain the rule, though dedicated adult-content boards would do better on a different server - the lower traffic from the limited size should offset the either higher cost or lower bandwidth available from hosting in nations with liberal or no obscenity laws. The ideal solution of course would be to find somewhere like that to put the whole site on.
Oh, and we should have a yuri board.

I vote /loli/ is hosted on another server or just shafted altogether. We always get stuck with shitty hosting because of it. Doesn't fapchan or something have a lolicon board?

In the future, I suggest that any redundancy between Mikuchan and Desuchan be removed and Mikuchan's boards be placed on our sidebar, Idlechan-style. Same goes for other "allies," especially huga (whatever it is, lol).

Dude, Dr. Cirno mentioned that Desuchan got taken down because some jackass posted CP and and the site was reported before the mods could delete it it, not because the ISP noticed the site had a /loli/ board. It might have been reported by the same person that posted the CP--Considering the fact that Desuchan has had a history of being raided/hacked/DoS'd, what exactly is so difficult to understand about this?

Also, if having a dedicated /loli/ board is really that much of a hassle, why don't you guys just allow such content to be posted on the /h/ board as opposed to keeping it in a seperate section?
