Can we please fix the image-posting system so that clicking on a thumbnail will open a seperate page with the full-sized version instead of expanding the thumbnail inside of the topic page?

I wouldn't mind if the images didn't take so long to load when expanding. Probably a hardware rather than a software issue.

If you click it with your scroll wheel it opens in a new tab/page. either that or right click it and select tab. I do the scroll wheel thing, no problems.

Suggestion: Have Hugachan and, if it ever returns, Desuchan removed from Google. If you typed certain search phrases into Google, the search results sometimes brought up Desuchan board topics and individual posts.

This will definitely help REDUCE the possibility of "Nazis" finding these sites, but Im not sure how exactly to do this, or if it would cost money or not. (I would think that you just contact Google and it would be free, since anyone would have the right to not have their site be

yes, but that also stops genuine people finding the place. it's easy to do, no need to contact google, but as we're now in a country that doesn't give a hoot about such things, the prudes can go swivel.

Something we were bandying about on irc the other day; I posit the suggestion of an IRL board, for the purposes of meeting Desuchanners in the meatspace. As far as I know it's not been done on any other chan, and Desu is probably one of the few it could actually work on due to the nature of the users.

Probably not worth doing on Hugachan, it's an idea for when Desuchan proper returns. Anyway, discuss.

Would keep too many out I'd think... as the intertubes are a big place the odds of people being nearby are fairly small, so it'd need a lot of traffic to work really. Exceptional events like Desutour and the partyjet are obviously exceptional.
